AiWebSoft is an independent publication with practical, well-researched guides on artificial intelligence, web development and software. Our readers are developers, founders, IT managers and business owners, mainly in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Europe.
If you have real experience in these areas and something useful to share, we’d like to hear from you. We accept a small number of carefully reviewed contributions from practitioners whose knowledge can genuinely help our readers.
Please read this page in full before pitching. It explains what we publish, our standards and how the process works.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome pitches from people with first-hand experience, such as:
- software engineers, web developers and architects;
- data scientists and machine learning engineers;
- cloud, DevOps and security professionals;
- CTOs, founders and product managers who have built or bought technology;
- researchers and educators in AI, web or software.
You don’t need to be a professional writer. Our editor will help you shape your article. What matters most is that you know your subject and can explain it clearly.
Topics We Cover
Your article should fit one of our core topics:
Artificial Intelligence
- practical AI applications in business
- machine learning infrastructure and MLOps
- AI in finance, insurance, fraud prevention and other industries
- responsible AI, AI governance and data protection
Web Development
- modern frameworks and web technologies
- website performance, hosting and cloud infrastructure
- web security and accessibility
- SEO-friendly development practices
Software
- software architecture and system design
- cloud and SaaS products
- development practices, testing and automation
- choosing the right tools for a team or business
What We Publish
We look for articles that are:
- Original and unpublished: your article must not have been published anywhere else, including your own blog, LinkedIn or Medium, and must not be submitted elsewhere while we review it.
- Based on real experience: practical lessons, real-world examples, case studies, step-by-step guides, architecture decisions and honest trade-offs.
- Accurate and well-sourced: facts, figures, prices and technical claims must link to reliable sources, preferably official documentation, standards bodies, research papers or reputable industry publications.
- Practical: readers should finish the article understanding the topic better and knowing what to do next.
- Clear and readable: written in plain English, with technical terms explained and a logical structure.
- In-depth: most published articles are 1,200 to 2,500 words, but quality matters more than length.
What We Don’t Accept
To protect our readers and the quality of our publication, we do not accept:
- paid guest posts, sponsored posts or link placements of any kind;
- requests to add links to existing articles;
- articles written mainly to promote a product, service or company;
- content written mainly for search engines or for building backlinks;
- articles that are AI-generated or mass-produced without genuine expertise and human authorship;
- rewritten, spun or copied content, including from your own previously published work;
- content on topics outside AI, web development and software;
- content about gambling, adult material, weapons, illegal drugs, hacking or any other subject that breaks Google’s publisher policies or applicable law;
- legal, financial or medical advice presented as professional advice.
We never charge contributors to publish, and we never pay for links. If anyone offers to publish on AiWebSoft in exchange for payment, they do not represent us. Please report it to hi@aiwebsoft.co.
Our Link Policy
Links in contributed articles must help the reader, not the author’s search rankings.
- Links should point to useful, relevant and authoritative sources that support the article.
- You may include one link to your own website or professional profile in your author bio.
- Links to your own company’s products or services are allowed in the article body only where they are genuinely relevant, and they are limited to one.
- In line with Google’s spam policies, outbound links in contributed articles, including author bio links, are marked with the
rel="nofollow"attribute. - We may remove, replace or edit any link at our discretion.
Use of AI Tools
We follow the same rules for contributors as for our own content (see our Editorial Policy):
- You may use AI tools for limited help, such as checking grammar or brainstorming an outline, but the article must be written by you and must reflect your own knowledge and experience.
- You must tell us if you used AI tools, and how.
- You are responsible for verifying every fact, statistic, quotation and code sample in your article.
- We may decline any submission that appears to be largely AI-generated.
Images and Code
- Images must be your own, licensed for commercial use, or free to use with proper attribution. Please tell us the source and licence for every image.
- Screenshots should be clear and must not reveal private or sensitive information.
- Code samples must be tested, correctly formatted and explained. Please don’t include API keys, passwords or other credentials.
How to Pitch
Please send a pitch first, not a finished article. Email hi@aiwebsoft.co with the subject line “Write for Us: [Your Proposed Title]” and include:
- Your proposed title
- A short summary (3–5 sentences) of what the article will cover and why it matters to our readers
- An outline with the main headings
- Who you are: your name, role, relevant experience and a link to your LinkedIn profile or professional website
- Two or three writing samples, if you have them
We review every pitch carefully. If your idea is a good fit, we’ll reply within 5 business days to discuss next steps. If you don’t hear from us within 10 business days, please assume your pitch isn’t a fit at this time.
The Editorial Process
- Pitch approval: we agree the topic, angle and outline with you.
- Draft: you send your article as a Google Doc or Word document.
- Editing: our editor reviews it for accuracy, clarity, structure and compliance with our Editorial Policy. We may ask for revisions and will edit for style, length and readability.
- Fact-check: we check sources, figures and technical claims. Articles that don’t meet our standards won’t be published.
- Publication: we decide the publication date, headline, images and formatting. You’ll get a byline and an author bio.
- Updates: we may update your article over time to keep it accurate, in line with our Corrections Policy.
Submitting an article doesn’t guarantee publication. We may decline any submission at any stage.
Rights and Credit
- You keep the copyright to your article.
- By submitting it, you confirm that the article is your original work, has not been published elsewhere, and doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
- You grant AiWebSoft an exclusive right to first publication and a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, update, display and share the article (including on social media) for as long as it remains on the Website.
- After publication, please don’t republish the full article elsewhere. You’re welcome to share a short excerpt with a link to the original on AiWebSoft.
- Every published contributor receives a byline, a short author bio and an optional author photo.
Contributions are unpaid. Contributors do not pay us, and we do not pay contributors.
Disclosure of Interests
If you work for, own, advise or have a financial relationship with any company, product or service mentioned in your article, you must tell us. Where relevant, we will disclose this to readers in the article, in line with our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
Privacy
We use the personal information you send us, such as your name, email address and professional details, only to review your pitch, communicate with you and publish your author bio if your article is accepted. See our Privacy Policy for details.
