Corrections Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

At AiWebSoft, we work hard to publish accurate, up-to-date information about artificial intelligence, web development and software. Even so, mistakes can happen, and technology changes quickly. When we get something wrong, we want to fix it promptly and openly. This policy explains how to report an error and how we handle corrections.

1. How to Report an Error

If you believe something we published is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, please contact us:

To help us review your report quickly, please include:

  1. the URL of the article;
  2. the specific statement you believe is incorrect;
  3. what you believe is correct, with a link to a reliable source if possible.

2. How We Review Reports

  • We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 2–3 business days.
  • The editor reviews every report against original and authoritative sources.
  • If we confirm an error, we correct the article as soon as possible.
  • If we decide a correction isn’t needed, we’ll reply to explain why, where appropriate.

3. How We Make Corrections

We handle changes according to how significant they are:

Minor fixes. Spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links and small wording improvements that don’t change the meaning are fixed without a note.

Corrections. When we fix a factual error, such as an incorrect figure, date, product detail, technical instruction or statement, we update the article and add a clear note at the end of the article, for example:

Correction (15 October 2026): An earlier version of this article stated the wrong default retention period for this service. It has been corrected to 14 months.

Updates. When an article is revised because something has changed since it was published, such as a new software version, new pricing or a new regulation, we update the content and the “last updated” date. Where it’s helpful, we briefly note what changed.

Significant errors. If an error undermines the main point of an article, we will either rewrite it with a prominent note explaining the change, or remove it and explain why.

4. What We Don’t Do

  • We do not quietly change the substance of an article to hide a mistake.
  • We do not remove articles simply because of criticism. We only correct or remove them when they are inaccurate, outdated or in breach of our policies.
  • We do not change our editorial conclusions at the request of advertisers, affiliate partners or vendors.
