Editorial Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

AiWebSoft is an independent publication with practical, well-researched guides on artificial intelligence, web development and software. Our readers are mainly in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Europe, and many of them make real decisions about technology, budgets and data based on what they read. This policy explains how we choose, research, write, review and update our content, and how we keep it independent.

AiWebSoft is owned and operated by Kaushal Dave, who is also its editor. He is responsible for all content published on the Website.

1. Our Editorial Mission

Our goal is simple. Every article should leave the reader understanding a topic better and knowing what to do next. We aim to be:

  • Accurate: facts, figures, product names and technical details are checked before publishing.
  • Practical: we focus on explanations, comparisons, steps and real-world considerations, not hype.
  • Clear: we explain technical topics in plain language without oversimplifying them.
  • Independent: advertisers, affiliate partners and vendors have no influence over what we write or the conclusions we reach.
  • Transparent: we show who wrote each article, when it was published or last updated, and where our information comes from.

2. How We Choose Topics

We choose topics based on:

  • questions our readers are asking about AI, web development, software and cloud computing;
  • significant developments in technology, products and regulation;
  • areas where we believe existing information is incomplete, outdated or hard to apply in practice.

We do not publish content purely to target search terms when we can’t add genuine value for readers.

3. Research and Sources

Our articles are researched using reliable, authoritative sources. In order of preference, these are:

  1. Primary sources: official documentation, vendor product pages and release notes, standards bodies, government and regulator websites, and peer-reviewed research papers.
  2. Reputable secondary sources: established industry publications, respected analysts and recognized technical communities.

We follow these standards:

  • We link to our sources, so readers can check the facts for themselves.
  • For statistics, prices and legal or regulatory statements, we use the most recent official source available and mention the date or version where it matters.
  • We avoid relying on a single unverified source for important claims.
  • We clearly separate facts from analysis and opinion.
  • We do not present marketing claims from vendors as independent facts.

4. Writing Standards

  • Each article is written for a clear audience and purpose.
  • We explain technical terms when we first use them.
  • We include practical guidance, such as steps, comparisons, checklists, examples or trade-offs, wherever it helps the reader.
  • When a topic touches on legal, financial, security or compliance matters, we provide general information only and recommend consulting a qualified professional. See our Disclaimer.
  • We only say we have tested or used a product if we have actually done so. Where an article is based on research rather than hands-on testing, we make that clear.

5. Review Before Publishing

Before an article is published, it is reviewed for:

  • factual accuracy, including figures, dates, product names, versions and pricing;
  • working links to sources and references;
  • clarity, structure and readability;
  • compliance with this policy and with our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Use of AI Tools

As a publication that covers artificial intelligence, we sometimes use AI tools to help with research, outlining or editing. We follow these rules:

  • A human reviews, fact-checks and edits every article before it is published.
  • We do not publish AI-generated content without human review.
  • Facts, statistics and quotations suggested by AI tools are checked against original sources, never published on trust.
  • The named author and editor are fully responsible for every article on the Website.

7. Keeping Content Up to Date

Technology changes quickly. To keep our content useful:

  • every article shows its publication date and, where applicable, its last updated date;
  • we review important and popular articles regularly, and update them when tools, prices, regulations or best practices change;
  • when we make a significant update, we change the “last updated” date and, where helpful, note what changed;
  • if an article becomes outdated and can no longer be updated usefully, we may redirect it to a more current article or remove it.

8. Corrections

We correct errors promptly and transparently. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, please email hi@aiwebsoft.co or use our contact page. Full details are in our Corrections Policy.

9. Editorial Independence, Advertising and Affiliates

AiWebSoft is free to read and is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Some articles may also contain affiliate links.

  • Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over our topics, opinions, ratings or conclusions.
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage.
  • Affiliate links are clearly disclosed in the articles where they appear.
  • If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as “Sponsored”.
  • Ads are visually separate from editorial content and are not designed to look like our articles.

Read more in our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.

10. Images and Media

We use images that are our own, that we have the right to use under a licence, or that are clearly attributed to their source. Screenshots of software are used for illustration and commentary, and all trademarks remain the property of their owners.

11. Guest Posts and Contributions

We accept a small number of unpaid contributions from practitioners with genuine expertise in AI, web development and software. Contributed articles go through the same research, editing and fact-checking process as the rest of our content, and their authors are clearly identified with a byline and author bio. We do not accept paid guest posts, sponsored posts or link placements. Outbound links in contributed articles are marked rel="nofollow". Read our full guidelines on the Write for Us page.

12. Reader Comments

We welcome constructive comments. Comments are moderated to remove spam, abuse, misleading content and unsafe links. The rules are set out in our Terms of Use.
